Traditions

Children love traditions, and there are many ways we celebrate them at ESM.

Some of our most important traditions are those you will only find at a parochial school. Among them are weekly chapel services where students actively participate in worship, and meaningful Christmas Vespers worship services where students proclaim the birth of Christ and help everyone celebrate the true, eternal reason for Christmas.

Spirit Week is everyone's favorite chance to have fun and show school spirit. From blue hair all the way down to crazy socks, we love the special dress days we have that week. Our Spirit Week coincides with National Lutheran Schools Week, and we are thrilled to share our celebration with other students in Lutheran Schools around the world.
