PALS
In the fall of 2016, Emmanuel and Washington Elementary school building upon an established partnership started PALS (Peer Assisted Learning Strategies) after school reading program. Each semester 20+ Washington Elementary students come to Emmanuel for reading activities and exposure to God’s Word. Seventh and eighth grades students from ESM and Emmanuel congregation members assist in sharing the gift of reading and the Gospel with children from our community. To find out more information about this program please see the documents section on this page. Likewise, if you would like to ask a question of or speak to one of the PALS directors (Alyssa Bornheimer and Richie Cummins), their contact information is provided at the bottom of this page.
