Ready for Kindergarten?
Developmental readiness requires an accurate prediction of the social, emotional, and academic readiness, not just for kindergarten, but also for every stepping stone along the way. At ESM we desire to place our students and parents with the best opportunity to thrive, now and in the future. History and experience currently point to the indicator of being five prior to the start of formal education as being significant in the long-term success of a student. All children entering Kindergarten must be five by August 1 of the current school year.

How do I enroll my Kindergarten student?
For kindergarten and returning students, the enrollment period runs from January to March. Each January and February, ESM hosts Kindergarten Information and Enrollment Sessions in which you can learn how ESM might serve you in choosing the best educational options for your family. Kindergarten Screening
Screenings will be performed for each prospective Kindergarten student in May prior to school starting. This allows our professional staff the opportunity to get to know your child and make the best decisions regarding class placement for the upcoming year.
