Mrs. Kayla McCaig

While newly married and new to our staff this year, Kayla McCaig is no stranger to ESM. She is a product of our school, attended Concordia University Chicago with a specialization in theology and Spanish, and spent her first two years of teaching in a Lutheran school in Pittsburgh, PA. After Kayla’s first year of teaching, the Lutheran Education Association honored her with the Outstanding New Early Childhood Educator of the Year award. While studying in Chicago, she met her husband, James, who is a native of Potters Bar, England. They are members of Emmanuel Lutheran Church and are both avid runners. Kayla naturally loves to serve, enjoys reading, and coaches the Lutherun cross-country team in the fall.
