Volunteer

Emmanuel - St. Michael Lutheran School strengthens the educational program through the use of volunteers. Volunteer parents and friends of the school donate their time to assist the teacher, principal, and the non-teaching staff.  Because volunteers come from a variety of backgrounds and interests, they can bring to the school and the children a wealth of experience, knowledge, and benefits.  All volunteers must complete a form giving us permission to run a background check through the Indiana State Police.

Want to volunteer but you don't know when or where. Just contact either school office or many times volunteer opportunities are listed in the Eagle Eye Newsletter.

ESM is looking for someone who is willing to be a substitute for our lunch transport for this school year and then to take over the transport during the 17-18 school year. The hours are approximately 11:15 am - 1:30 pm and the job does require some lifting. The school van is used for the transport but does not require any special license to drive. This is a great way to interact with our students on a daily basis and a job that is crucial for ESM. If you have any questions, please email Mrs. Pratt at [email protected] or call the school office at 422-6712.
