Language Arts: Keep working on those short
vowel sounds!
The letters we’ve learned so far are: A, B, C,
D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, M, N, O, P, Q, R,
S, T, U, V, W, X and Y. Z is our final letter!
No practice sheet this week, just keep practicing those early
readers at home!
We’ve been reading our special stories from our
letter books. Be sure to review these with your
child when he/she brings the letterbooks home.

Tuesday? Or any other time? Thanks to
Mrs. McLain for offering to listen on
Thursdays. Mrs. Sue Beaver, Alayna’s great
aunt, is also coming every other Friday to
listen to us read to her.

Math:
We will continue working with bigger numbers,
up to 31 now, in chapter 16. We will be
counting by fives and tens and reviewing even
numbers as well. Keep practicing the adding and
subtracting all summer! Children will continue
using it and need to recall facts quickly.
Ø
Science:
We are continuing to learn about day and night.
Sun, moon, stars and more will be explored as we
continue to learn about God’s wonderful
creation.
