SPELLING
NOTES FROM THE TEACHER: Our field trip on Friday will not require any parents to attend. Concordia Lutheran High School has a wonderful “God’s Creation” classroom. They will provide students to accompany the children. We will be traveling on the school bus. Ms. Hendrickson and I will be comfortable managing the students. This trip is perfect timing since we are studying plants in Science! We will return about 11:15. Since our first reading story speaks of a balanced diet and nutritious food we have talked about this quite a bit. Of course Dragon didn’t quite understand the food groups, but we recognize the various food groups and the importance of eating properly. The children made some fine posters last week in art pointing out “What makes me healthy?” See them in the hallway. We also discussed the importance of breakfast each morning! Lunch is not till 12:25! Remember to participate in worship and Sunday school each week! This is the day the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it! Congratulations to the Clendenen Family! Lucas Jacob was baptized last Saturday evening! He is a precious lamb of Jesus! God bless you, each one, special! Mrs. Nichols Dates to Remember9/14 – 2nd Gr.
